Privacy policy
Last updated 8 October 2026.
Wearly is an Android app that fits a garment photo onto a model and prepares product photos for marketplace listings. This policy describes what we collect, where it goes, and how to have it removed. It covers the Wearly app and this website.
What we collect
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your Google account details Name, email address, profile picture, and the account identifier Google gives us |
To sign you in and to recognise the same account on a new phone, so a paid plan follows you rather than the device |
| Images you upload Garment photos and product photos |
They are the input to the generation you asked for |
| Images we generate | So you can return to them, download them, or share them |
| Usage counts How many generations you have run |
To apply daily and monthly limits |
| Purchase records The token Google Play gives us for a subscription |
To know whether your plan is active. We never see your card details — Google processes payment and we only receive confirmation |
We do not collect your contacts, location, calendar, files, or any Google data beyond the basic profile described above. Signing in asks only for your name, email address and profile picture.
Where your images go
Images are stored in Amazon Web Services S3 in the Mumbai region (ap-south-1),
in India.
Generating a result needs a GPU, which we rent from RunPod. To process one job we give RunPod a temporary link that can read that one input and write that one result, and nothing else. Those links expire. RunPod's servers are outside India — currently in the United States and Europe — so your image is transferred out of India for the seconds it takes to process, and is not retained by them afterwards.
What we do not do with your images
They are not used to train any model, ours or anyone else's. They are not sold. They are not shared with advertisers or data brokers. No person at Wearly looks at them, except where you contact us about a specific problem and we need to in order to answer you.
How long we keep it
| What | Kept |
|---|---|
| Photos you upload | 15 days, then deleted automatically — or sooner if you delete your account |
| Images we generate | Until you ask us to delete them, or you delete your account |
| Account details and usage counts | Until you delete your account |
The 15 days are enforced by the storage itself rather than by us remembering to run something: a rule on the bucket expires every uploaded file 15 days after it arrives. Your generated images are not affected — those are yours to keep until you remove them.
Deleting your account and data
In the app: Account → Delete account. It is immediate. If you no longer have the app, email wearly.ai.lens@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. Full details are on the account deletion page. We will remove your account record, your uploaded photos and your generated images within 30 days, and confirm when it is done.
You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at the same address.
Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting reasons — that a subscription was purchased, for instance — may be retained after deletion where the law requires it.
Who else is involved
| Who | What they do |
|---|---|
| Signs you in, and processes subscription payments through Google Play | |
| Amazon Web Services | Stores your images, in Mumbai |
| RunPod | Runs the image generation on rented GPUs, outside India |
We do not share your data with anyone else.
Security
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. Your images are not publicly readable: each request for one is checked against your account first, and the links we issue are short-lived and limited to a single file. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
Wearly is meant for people selling clothing online and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app.
